Second Everyday Hero Workshop in Austria
On October 14th 2024, during the Erasmus Days 2024, Auxilium implemented the Everyday Hero Workshop at the HAK Mürzzuschlag in two sessions.
After briefly introducing ourselves and the project, we started the workshop with the class by presenting the goals and steps (see page on the right from our Green Theme Day Idea Set).
Then, the young people worked together in pairs of groups of three to design mini-posters of their picked topic and brainstormed potential improvement actions, which they then presented to the whole group. All posters were taped to the blackboard. Finally, the class discussed together and picked three actions to which they all agreed.
In our second event, these three actions were selected to be adopted by all participants in their daily life from now on:
💚 Shower instead of bathing
💚 Re-use plastic
💚 Switch off the lights when leaving a room
At the end, we gave the class a thank you present for their participation and invited them to join us during their break at our information booth in the great hall, where we presented more of Auxilium’s Erasmus+ projects and had little goodies such as meme stickers for the participants.
